Watching this spectacle is an unforgettable experience — fishermen sort their catch, buyers bid, and the air smells of the sea.

Playa del Tamarit

A smaller, more intimate beach west of the centre. Surrounded by dunes and vegetation, offering a calmer atmosphere than Playa Lisa. Popular with surfers and windsurfers due to the southerly wind. Length approximately 450 metres.

Gran Playa

Santa Pola as an active fishing port is a paradise for seafood lovers. Fish goes straight from the trawler to the restaurant kitchen, guaranteeing maximum freshness. Here are two establishments we particularly recommend:

La Lonja

What Is the Seafront Promenade Like?

The seafront promenade (Paseo Maritimo) runs along Playa Lisa beach and is the heart of Santa Pola's social life. It stretches for several kilometres, connecting the port with residential areas to the south. It is the perfect spot for a morning jog, an evening stroll, or a cycling excursion.

What you will find on the promenade

  • • Ice cream shops and tapas bars
