Your airport transfer is the first practical decision after booking a stay in Gran Alacant. The distance is short, but the best option depends on arrival time, luggage and whether the bus timetable happens to fit. This guide uses official Aena, Vectalia and operator pages rather than stale forum prices.

Taxi and VTC: the simplest transfer
An official taxi is the simplest option if you arrive with children, several bags or just want door-to-door transport. Aena says official airport taxis are operated by Radio Taxi Elche and Servitaxi Elche, identifiable by a green stripe and the Elche coat of arms. The taxi rank is on the arrivals roadway.
Treat old price posts as outdated. Aena publishes an airport supplement, but the full fare depends on current tariffs, time and operator rules. Check the current quote before the ride.
For VTC, Aena lists pickup on terminal level 0 and names Uber and Cabify. Uber confirms ALC pickup, but availability and price are live. Bolt operates in Alicante, but airport pickup should be checked in the app on arrival day.
Bus: yes, but only if the timetable fits
Some older advice says there is no direct bus from the airport to Gran Alacant. Current official sources are more nuanced: Aena describes the Santa Pola - Aeropuerto - San Vicente (UA) route, and Vectalia publishes a timetable with Aeropuerto and Gran Alacant stops.
It is not a frequent shuttle. Timetables can change by season, and Vectalia marks stop times as approximate. Use the bus only if you check the live timetable before flying and have enough time after baggage reclaim.
Do not confuse this with the C6 airport bus. C6 goes to Alicante city and Luceros station, which is useful for the city but not direct to Gran Alacant. If the Gran Alacant bus timing does not work, a taxi, VTC or arranged pickup is usually simpler.
TRAM, N-332 and route planning
TRAM d'Alacant does not serve Gran Alacant. Aena describes access to the TRAM network via the C6 bus to Luceros, while official FGV network data shows no Gran Alacant stop.
By car, the natural route heads toward the N-332 and Gran Alacant. In normal conditions this is a short transfer, but heavy rain, peak traffic and baggage delays can add time.
Transfer to Brisa Alacant
Brisa Alacant is in Gran Alacant, within Santa Pola municipality. It is a bungalow-style apartment for stays from 11 nights, so it is worth planning arrival calmly: flight time, luggage count and a backup option if the bus does not fit.
